State soil testing lab improves efficiency

The Soil Testing Section of the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services analyzed 314,000 samples for state residents in fiscal year 2005. This is the second largest volume in the lab's 60-year history and the third time that sample numbers have exceeded 300,000 in the last six years. |
